To me, pets are a huge part of our world. They’re our babies, our companions, and often the ones who make an ordinary day a little brighter. When your baby is in my care, I want them to feel like my baby, too. I love discovering what makes each animal unique—their favorite games, little quirks, ways of asking for attention, and what makes them feel safe. I also love teaching and learning with animals, whether that means practicing new behaviors, reinforcing good habits, finding what motivates them, or simply learning how they communicate. When I meet a new pet, I give them time to get comfortable with me. Some are ready for attention right away, while others need a little time. Once they’re comfortable, though, I’m all about the cuddles, pets, and affection. I love spending time with animals, whether that means taking a dog for a walk, playing with them, hanging out together, or just keeping them company while their family is away. If a pet wants attention, they’ll probably get plenty of it from me! Some pets like to sit beside you. Some want to be held. Some want to follow you around everywhere. I’m happy with all of it. And honestly, one of my favorite parts of pet care is when a pet decides they like me enough to come looking for me.
